to Monroe County Sheriff & 1 to Sparta Pool. CPR classes held for individuals and groups (Sparta Fire, area schools and police officers)

Congratulations to one of our own Ryan! Ryan has graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology on his way to PA School! Ryan's ultimate goal is a PA in an Emergency Department. Ryan will keep working with SAA for now and any PA Program will be lucky to have a quality person and patient care provider like Ryan!

After 32 years and countless lives impacted, Darlene Merow has decided to retire from Sparta Area Ambulance! Darlene has been a leader in EMS serving in many roles at SAA; EMT, EMT-Intermediate, and Assistant Director. Darlene has been a huge advocate for her patients and her community often receiving personal phone calls in the middle of the night for assistance and she answers the call! She has used her family farm and even her family members for training and education countless times! When you see Darlene thank her for her service to the Sparta community!
