Hello!
We wanted to reach out to introduce ourselves and provide some information as we near the beginning of the school year.
Next week Wednesday, September 2nd, is 6th grade's open house. Your child's homeroom teacher will be reaching out to you to schedule a time for you to come into the school between 11:30am and 7:30pm. In order to limit the amount of people in the building it is important that you come at the scheduled time and that only one parent or guardian and 6th grade student attend. Students can pick up their technology device prior to coming to the classroom so you may want to arrive a few minutes early.
During your open house meeting you will meet with your child's homeroom teacher and receive important information about the beginning of the school year. You may drop off school supplies in the classroom during this meeting. We will also be showing students how to log into a few apps that will be necessary to know the first day of school. Sparta Virtual Academy students will be receiving textbooks during this time. If you are unable to attend during this time, please reach out to us so that we can work out another time or method to get you this information.
The first day of school for 6th grade students will be virtual on September 8th. Students begin attending in person on September 9th.

Quisimos enviarles esta carta para presentarnos y brindar información a medida que nos acercamos al comienzo del año escolar.
La semana que viene, miércoles 2 de septiembre, será el Open House de 6º grado. El maestro de aula de su hijo se comunicará con usted para programar una hora para que usted entre a la escuela entre las 11:30 am y las 7:30 pm. Para limitar la cantidad de personas en el edificio, es importante que venga a la hora programada y que solo asista un padre o tutor y un alumno de 6º grado. Los estudiantes pueden recoger su dispositivo tecnológico antes de llegar al aula, por lo que es posible que desee llegar unos minutos antes.
Durante su reunión de Open House, se reunirá con el maestro de aula de su hijo y recibirá información importante sobre el comienzo del año escolar. Puede dejar los útiles escolares en el salón de clases durante esta reunión. También mostraremos a los estudiantes cómo iniciar sesión en algunas aplicaciones que serán necesarias para conocer el primer día de clases. Los estudiantes de Sparta Virtual Academy (clases en línea) recibirán libros de texto durante este tiempo. Si no puede asistir durante este tiempo, comuníquese con nosotros para que podamos trabajar en otro momento o método para brindarle esta información.
El primer día de clases para los estudiantes de 6º grado será virtual el 8 de septiembre. Los estudiantes comienzan a asistir en persona el 9 de septiembre.
