When you see a sign that's not in compliance. That's gonna be a no from me, dawg. 😎

In all seriousness, Spartanburg County Zoning Enforcement Officers work to ensure compliance with County ordinances—including placing violation stickers on off-premise subdivision signs that are no longer permitted in unincorporated areas of the county.

But signs are just one part of the job. From conducting inspections of mobile home parks and junkyards to verifying setbacks and addressing zoning concerns, these officers play an important role in our growing community.

And we’re looking for someone to join the team! 🔎

If you’re observant, enjoy being out in the field, like working with people, and want a career where no two days look quite the same, Zoning Enforcement might be the job for you!

Polling locations are open for the U.S. Senate Special Republican Primary today from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Please note: Voters should visit https://vrems.scvotes.sc.gov/Voter/Login?PageMode=Sampleballot to get their sample ballot and find their assigned Election Day voting location, including any temporary changes to voting locations.

These are the locations for Election Day voting and for August 25th if a runoff is necessary.

Voters who participated in the June 9th Democratic Primary are not eligible to participate in this U.S. Senate Special Republican Primary.

That’s a wrap on an incredible Summer Internship Program! 🎉

Spartanburg County was proud to host nearly 100 interns this summer, and we’re confident we learned just as much from them as they learned from us.

The program concluded with a mock County Council meeting, where our interns presented their ideas, engaged in thoughtful discussion, and gained firsthand experience in civic leadership. They did an outstanding job.

We couldn’t be more proud of everything these students accomplished over the past two months. Their hard work, fresh perspectives, and contributions to Spartanburg County have been truly appreciated, and we can’t wait to see where their futures take them.

Thank you to every participant for investing in your future, embracing leadership, and making a difference in our community. The future of Spartanburg County is bright, and it’s in great hands.
