🚁 Scene Response – Campobello, SC

This morning, the Regional One Air Medical crew responded to a scene call in Campobello, South Carolina, assisting with the rapid transport of a patient in need of specialized care.

Today’s crew consisted of Pilot John Keller, Flight Nurse Jessica Mills, and Flight Paramedic Matt Lonon, who worked alongside our local first responders to ensure the patient received timely access to advanced medical care.

A special thank you to Gowensville Fire District for their excellent landing zone preparation and to Spartanburg EMS for the exceptional patient care they provided prior to our arrival. Strong teamwork and seamless coordination between agencies continue to make a difference for the patients we serve.

This afternoon, Twin Rivers responded to a motor vehicle accident (MVA). Due to the potential need for a landing zone (LZ) for a patient, Twin Rivers requested additional assistance. Corinth Volunteer Fire Department responded to assist with establishing and securing the landing zone.

A big thank you to Greenville County EMS, Regional One Air Medical DMW Volunteer Fire Departmentand Corinth Volunteer Fire Department - Gaffney SC for their assistance and teamwork during this incident.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family involved.

🚁🩸 Thank You For Making A Difference 🩸🚁

Today was an incredible day at our Battle of the Birds Blood Drive, and we want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to come out and donate blood.

Every donor who rolled up a sleeve today has the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life. As air medical providers, we see firsthand how lifesaving blood products can be for trauma patients and those experiencing severe blood loss. The blood donated today will help patients when they need it most, and that’s something truly special.

We’d also like to give a huge thank you to Ginger Billy for joining us and helping spread the word about the importance of blood donation. His support helped bring attention to a cause that directly impacts the communities we serve every day, and we greatly appreciate him taking the time to be part of this event.

The turnout today was incredible and serves as a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a great cause. Every donation represents hope for a patient and family facing one of the toughest days of their lives.

Whether you donated blood, shared a post, encouraged a friend to come, or helped spread the word, thank you for helping make this event such a success.

The video attached features our own Pilot Jim Biddle, and tomorrow you’ll have the opportunity to meet Jim in person at our Battle of the Birds Blood Drive. Even better, Ginger Billy will also be joining us at the Regional One Base!

We’re competing against other helicopter bases to see who can bring in the most donors, and we need your help to take the win. Every donation helps support a lifesaving blood supply that can make a difference for trauma patients and those experiencing severe blood loss.
