Advocacy is one of our core commitments to the residents we serve.

Recently, our CEO, Shaunté Evans, Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, Meridith Vachon, and Special Projects Supervisor, Tyrone Meadows, spent time on Capitol Hill meeting with our local Congressional representatives. During these meetings, they advocated for policies and resources that support affordable housing and strengthen our community.

We are proud to amplify our residents' voices at the national level. 🏛️

Our Director, Rebecca Dillow, enjoyed her visit with our partners at the Spartanburg County Foundation earlier today for the Coffee Corner Live Chat with Karen Nichols.

The Live Chat was a very informative and casual event to learn more about Karen, her role as the VP of Philanthropic Services at SCF, and how we can continue to work collaboratively with the Foundation. Lakesha McCutchen, the SCF Community Engagement Officer, did an amazing job hosting and moderating the conversation.
