Join us for a mini convention experience at the Teen Cosplay Party on Wednesday, June 17th from 3-5pm at the Headquarters Library. Compete in a cosplay contest (like these teen cosplayers from an event last month), play games, and celebrate fandoms of all kinds! 🎉

*Costumes cannot include weapons (even fake ones) and masks can only be worn while at the party, not in the rest of the library. Thank you for your cooperation.

Our teen artist for June is Caitlin!
🎨 Caitlin is 15 and attends Byrnes High School.
🎨 She loves to dance, hang out with friends, and make different art pieces!
🎨 Caitlin likes to work with acrylic paint, chalk pastel, and so many others.
🎨 Her teacher has her class create art off of a certain feeling or inspiration, so sometimes she draws inspiration from something like her anxiety to tell a story about it.
🎨 Fun fact: Caitlin has been dancing since she was 3!

I have loved Scott Reintgen's sci-fi titles, so I was excited for this book which is a fantasy title with airships and magic!
📚 This book is great for fans of The Shadow Road by K.D. Kirchmeier, The Darkening by Sunya Mara, or The Night Hunt by Alexandra Christo. If you like those, you will like this one too (and vice versus!).
