Our deficit for the month PER CITIZEN was $2,914.

Another way of stating the obvious is that for the government to operate in a sustainable fashion we each must pay that much more in federal taxes...just for May...and don't forget to add your children's share.

FB suggested that the Owen County Tea Party endorse a candidate....most of us in this group do not believe that the tea party should be endorsing any candidates. We feel that the purpose of the tea party is to get information out there and let each person make up their own mind. Posted by Molly

Our county council members are proposing an INCREASE IN OUR LOCAL INCOME TAX.

I write this as administrator only because I don't know how to remove myself from that position. I speak only for myself (Beth Jones).

I strongly support Ted Cruz for president because:

1. He led the fight against Obamacare, often standing alone against his own Republican Party.

2. Despite the false Trump ads, Cruz tried to derail the "gang of 8" amnesty plan with multiple amendments.

3. Cruz has been a consistent fiscal AND social conservative, which are BOTH very important to me.

4. Trump is quite obviously a big-government liberal who will raise taxes and continue to erode the moral fiber that holds our country together.

Again, I speak only for myself... I DO hope that you will make the choice to vote with your mind and not with your emotions--emotions can be deceiving.
