Owen County Home the owen county home is closed ! Tony Abney is leasing the Owen County Home from Owen County.

Permanently closed.

He has 3 months to show the county that he can in fact bring money into the community by allowing paranormal investigators to come in and investigate. The first date the property will be available is September 1, 2011 and as of right now will be available through November 30,2011. The cost for a nights investigation is $500.00 with no limit on the number of people that you can bring. All funds wil

l be directed to the Owen County Treasurer's office who will keep 60% for the county to use to help maintain county-owned buildings such as the courthouse, security center, EMS station, armory and extension office. The remaining 40% will be directed to Tony Abney who will use a portion of the funds to help maintain the property.
