What an incredible week for CAASA!

This week, we had the privilege of attending Advanced Financial Training through the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.

The training provided valuable knowledge and tools to help us strengthen our management of federal grants and continue serving survivors with excellence across Northwest Iowa.

One of the highlights of the trip was having the opportunity to tour the White House! 🇺🇸

What an amazing experience and reminder of the importance of the work being done every day to support victims and survivors across our communities.

At CAASA, we believe learning never stops. Whether it's advocacy, prevention, response, or financial stewardship, we are committed to growing and improving so we can continue providing the highest quality services to those who need us most.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow us to bring new knowledge, resources, and ideas back to the 19 counties we proudly serve.

If you or someone you know needs help, our advocates are available 24/7.

Not every boundary violation looks obvious.

Sometimes, it’s hidden in pressure, silence, or “just joking.”

But subtle doesn’t mean harmless.

Learning to recognize these moments is the first step toward respecting consent for ourselves and for others. 💙
