Parking Lots 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, and 12 will be closed for painting beginning Wednesday, August 19th at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20th.

Parking Lot 5 will be painted in two sections. One section each day.

Blacktop Service Company plans to start the 2026 Spencer Sealcoat Project on Tuesday and complete it on Wednesday. The locations of the project can be viewed on the map below. No parking signs will be posted today and property owners adjacent to the project will receive a notice about the project. Residents are asked to please avoid the blocks that the Contractor is working on while construction equipment is present. Access to streets will be available shortly after the cover aggregate has been placed and rolled.

Heads up, Spencer residents!

Smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system will begin Monday, July 27th on the north end of town (north of the river - map is attached) as part of the City's Sanitary Sewer Master Plan.

- Testing will take place July 27th-August 7th between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
- This process helps identify leaks, illegal connections, and flood-related damage to improve system performance and plan for future growth.
- Non-Toxic smoke may be visible from roof vents, this is normal. Smoke should not enter buildings unless plumbing issues or dry traps exist.
