The Spencer Police Department would like to welcome our newest part-time police officer, Mason Hoops.

Mason is a graduate of Northcentral Technical College where he completed the law enforcement academy in December of 2025.

Another great game against the Spencer Colby Abby Community Special Olympics team. Fell short with a final score of 72 to 76.

Welcome back Officer Jason Bauer!! Jason will be working as a part-time patrol officer.

Jason originally began his career as a part-time patrol officer for the Spencer Police Department in April of 1996. He then began working as a full-time officer for the Colby-Abbotsford Police Department in August of 1996 where he was later promoted to Chief of Police and retired from CAPD in 2024.

🎅🚔 Breaking News: The Grinch Has Been Arrested 🎄😄

Officers responded to W. Roberts St in the Village of Spencer.

The Grinch tried to steal Christmas, but the residence of Roberts Street weren’t having it and called in the Spencer Police Department. Thankfully, our officers responded quickly, and after a brief chase through the neighborhood, the Grinch was taken into custody and Christmas cheer was saved.

Garrrett was hired with our police department as a part-time patrol officer in 2023. Garrett has 12 years of law enforcement experience.
