Spencer Community Fire District We are comprised of over 20 volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel.

The Spencer Community Fire District is located in Spencer, Ohio and we cover the Village and Township of Spencer plus mutual aid to our surrounding communities.

We would like to take a minute to thank everybody that made our night at the races a success. Medina County Sheriff's Office will be setting off the tornado sirens for Ohio’s annual Statewide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, March 18, at 9:50 a.m.

All residents are urged to participate by reviewing and practicing their designated tornado sheltering procedures. This drill serves as an important opportunity to ensure individuals, families, schools, and workplaces are prepared to respond quickly and safely in the event of severe weather.

At 12:57 this afternoon our department was toned out for a field on fire. After about an hour and a half on scene, we were able to get everything under control before further incident. Thank you to Chatham Township Fire Department for the assistance. Please remember that there is a burn ban in effect in the state of Ohio from 6am to 6pm every day. It is also recommended to not have an open burn during windy conditions as it can result in the fire becoming out of control quickly. Always remember to stay safe.
