Anna was very grateful to receive this endorsement from former Spencerport School Superintendent Bonnie Seaburn;
"It is an honor to write this letter of endorsement for Anna Sapienza to be the next Mayor of Spencerport. I have known Anna for over twenty-five years and worked side by side with her in my role as Superintendent of Spencerport Schools when Anna held the position of Coordinator of Special Education. Anna was recognized by parents, students and fellow administrators as a leader in our school district.
Anna is a person with vision who knows how to generate new ideas and take the initiative to accomplish much needed goals. Anna is keenly aware that we need to look to the future of Spencerport and to explore possibilities for growth.
Anna is also a team player who collaborates with others to create solutions to issues or to think about innovations for the future. Anna is honest and is someone who works hard each and every day. She is passionate about her beliefs but is also open to listening and having conversations with those who differ from her thinking.
Anna is someone who will identify needs, gather ideas from a variety of people, explore options and lead the community in taking actions that will maintain the best of Spencerport, while facilitating change when it is called for. Anna has a collegial style that enables her to work creatively and effectively with others.
As a 30 year resident who loves our village, Anna possesses the skills to lead us as our new Mayor. I give my full support to Anna Sapienza and hope that you will remember her on March 16th as you cast your vote."
