WE’RE HIRING!

The Town of Ogden is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Motor Equipment Operator (MEO) with our Town of Ogden Highway Department.

This position plays an important role in maintaining the Town’s roads and infrastructure and includes operating trucks and heavy equipment, snow removal, highway maintenance, drainage work, paving, and other public works activities.

Position Details:
Motor Equipment Operator – Highway Department
$26.42–$31.11 per hour
Full-time, 40 hours per week
7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Application Deadline: August 13, 2026, or until filled

Applicants must have two years of qualifying equipment operation experience and possess a valid New York State Class B CDL at the time of appointment.

During this time, both internet service and Town Hall telephone systems will be unavailable for an estimated two hours. As a result, certain Town services that depend on connectivity may be temporarily unavailable or experience delays.

The Village of Spencerport’s “Music on the Canal” 2026 Concert Series is just around the corner! Starting June 14, live concerts will take place every Sunday evening throughout June, July, and August from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Clyde Carter Memorial Gazebo. These free community concerts are open to all and offer a wonderful chance to enjoy local musical talent, spend time outdoors, and make the most of the summer season. We hope to see you there!
