Tony Perkins writes: "The latest example of the cultural Marxism that has infested blue states like New York is a bill awaiting Governor Kathy Hochul’s (D) signature — S.9316. Supporters describe it as a measure making technical revisions to New York family law. But it does far more than that. It raises a fundamental question: What happens when ideology replaces reality?"

Ultimately, this is not an attack on words. It is an attack on one of the last great bulwarks standing in the way of their vision for society: the family as God created it.

"For pro-lifers, reversing the Biden administration’s interpretation and enforcing federal law against the mailing of abortion drugs would represent a generational victory in the effort to protect unborn children. Let’s pray it happens sooner rather than later," writes David Closson.

David Closson | Will Todd Blanche enforce the long-established federal ban on the mailing of abortion-inducing drugs?

For decades, New York Families Foundation and New York Families Action have helped Christians across the Empire State become informed voters by providing educational resources that help them understand where candidates stand on issues affecting life, family, religious freedom, and other matters of public concern.

That work continues in 2026 through a new promotional partnership.

This year, rather than producing our own statewide voter guide, New York Families is partnering with iVoterGuide to provide New Yorkers with detailed, personalized information on the candidates on their ballots.

WASHINGTON – A public college has told a Christian student ministry it may operate on campus only if it is willing to let non-Christians lead its prayer, worship, and Bible teaching. Every election ultimately asks voters what kind of future they want. The conversations taking place across New York and the nation today, at their heart, are about competing ideas concerning freedom, opportunity, economic justice, and the role of God and government.

The choices Americans make at the ballot box this year will help determine not only who governs, but also which principles will shape our nation’s future for generations to come.

So, when you choose your candidates, choose well.

In 1961, at the height of the Cold War, the Berlin Wall became the defining symbol of a world divided between freedom and tyranny. At Checkpoint Charlie, observers of the […]

“For far too long, too much of our response to trafficking has focused on the person with the least power — the woman being exploited gets arrested, the storefront gets raided, and then too often the people running the operation, enabling it and knowingly providing the location, simply disappear into the background,” said Democratic Nassau Legislator Viviana Russell.

“The victim should not be the easiest person in the room to punish — our laws need to recognize the entire operation, not just the person trapped in the bottom of it,” she added.

Nassau County Democrats have introduced a new sweeping crackdown on human trafficking, positioning the county to become the toughest enforcer of laws against illicit massage establishments anywhere…

We all understand that the national debt is a pro-family concern, right? Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender." The path our nation is on is not sustainable. It's impacting every family across the country, but will have a greater impact on each successive generation, unless and until Congress reigns in the spending and the borrowing.

Our Board of Directors and current executive director, Jason J. McGuire, have begun a careful, prayerful search for Jason's successor. We are seeking someone with a clear love for Christ, a deep commitment to biblical truth, a heart for New York, and the leadership to guide this ministry into its next season. The posting for our next executive director is available at NewYorkFamilies.org/Careers.

This is more than a position to be filled. It is a stewardship entrusted to the person God has chosen.

Would you please pray:

• That God will make His choice unmistakably clear;
• That the person He calls will respond with faith and obedience;
• That our Board will have wisdom, discernment, and unity;
• That the transition will honor Christ and strengthen the ministry; and
• That New York Families will remain faithful and effective for generations.

"New York's elections watchdog declined to seek sanctions against the Bronx Democratic Party after New York Focus reported it failed to file a spate of campaign disclosure reports and hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions and spending."

"Some question whether the office's lighter treatment of the Bronx Democrats could be perceived as favoritism."

"The Board of Elections enforcement counsel's office 'should have pursued penalties in court against the Bronx Democratic Party just as they did for other non-filers,' said Alex Camarda, senior policy adviser at the government reform group Reinvent Albany. 'Not doing so makes the public perceive a double standard exists, with the party being granted leniency no other committee receives.'"

New York’s elections watchdog has sued hundreds over missing disclosures but declined to seek sanctions against the Bronx Democratic Party.

"Are abolitionists correct, does scripture forbid Christians from using incremental improvements [in the law]?"

In a word, no.

"We are operating inside of an existing political and cultural reality. Our country has spent many years allowing the murder of innocent children. Pro-life laws are not introducing murder; they are reducing murder. They are not introducing injustice; they are limiting injustice."

I believe abortion is the intentional killing of an innocent human being. I believe abortion should be treated as a crime, and that the act..
