Spicer Fire Department

The Spicer Fire Department has 25 paid-on-call firefighters. The firefighters primary jobs range everywhere from construction trades, legal, accounting, mechanical, managerial and more!

We'd like to highlight Spicer Firefighter Nate Johnson (orange helmet, second from right) who works for MnDOT. Nate is trained as a wildland firefighter with MnDOT and has been deployed by them to Northern MN to help the MnDNR with the wildfires.

Update as of 9:15 PM. Spicer fireworks are still a GO for 10 PM at this point.

Fireworks set up is ongoing as of 7:45pm and at this point the show is a GO. We will continue to monitor the weather and give as much advance notice as possible if things would change.

Willmar FD is making breakfast (or call it brunch, or lunch) from 7am to 1pm on Saturday!
