📢 Important Announcement: Trunk or Treat Canceled

We regret to inform everyone that Spillertown’s Trunk or Treat event has been canceled this year due to a lack of donations and community participation.

We truly appreciate those who had expressed interest and offered to help. Unfortunately, without sufficient support and resources, we aren’t able to host the kind of safe and fun event our families deserve.

We hope to revisit this event next year with more time for planning and community involvement. If you have ideas or would like to help organize future events, please reach out — your support can make all the difference!

An officer had a profound impact on a young man's life during a traffic stop, opting to engage in a meaningful conversation instead of issuing a ticket. The young man recently expressed his gratitude by presenting the officer with a gift card to Sonic. We are deeply appreciative of the young man's kind gesture, but more importantly, his acknowledgment that the officer's words of encouragement had a lasting positive effect on him. By taking a moment to share his appreciation, the young man brought joy to the officer and reinforced the importance of our role in serving and protecting our community.

If we are unavailable, please be considerate of the mayor's private time at home, as we have faced challenges with unexpected visits. The mayor's focus is on community leadership rather than law enforcement, and we invite you to join our board meetings on the third Tuesday of every month to engage with him on various topics.
