Join us on this date - Some battles didn’t end when the war did.

As we prepare to welcome The Wall That Heals to Rutherford County this November, we invite our community to join us in shining a light on the lasting impact of Agent Orange.

August 10 is recognized nationally as Agent Orange Awareness Day because it marks the anniversary of the first use of Agent Orange in Vietnam on August 10, 1961. More than six decades later, many Vietnam veterans and their families continue to live with the lifelong effects of toxic exposure.

Join us for Rutherford County’s first Agent Orange Remembrance and Awareness Day Ceremony as our community comes together to remember those whose lives were forever changed by Agent Orange, honor those we have lost, and recognize the families who continue to walk this journey alongside them.

Together, we remember. We educate. We honor.

Because no veteran, and no family, should ever have to walk this journey alone.
