With the threat of severe weather this evening I would recommend downloading this to you phone. This system will alert you to weather you have to register to receive the alerts. To scan the QR code open your cellphone camera like you are going to take a photo of it and towards the bottom of the camera should be a yellow icon click the icon and it will open up so you can register.

Around 1:30 pm today we were dispatched to a controlled burn that got out of control! With the mutual aid help of Arkoma,Panama,Pocola,Shady point,Spiro and forestry we were able to contain this fire within a little over a hour. Thank you guys for all your help today. Was able to keep this contain to minimal damage and no structures burnt. With wind like we have and dry as we are this could have gotten really bad today. Also thanks to Leflore county emergency management for assist as well.
