I want to start by saying thank you to every single one of you who supported our campaign. Your encouragement, your votes, and your belief in what we’re building truly mean a lot to me.

While last night wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, this is not the end of the road. We now go back to the drawing board, learn from this race, and implement the changes needed to come back stronger.

I want everyone to know that I will be running again in 2028, and I’m committed to continuing this fight for our district and for the values we believe in.

Over the next few years we will continue building momentum, expanding outreach, and working with a PR team to help get our message out through more interviews. I will also be ordering new campaign signs over the coming years in preparation for the 2028 primary.

This campaign was never about one election, it’s about building something that lasts.

Again, thank you all for standing with me. We aren’t finished.

God bless,
Jonathan Mitchell

We love to complain about socialism in America…
yet somehow we’re perfectly fine funding governments all over the world with our tax dollars.

That’s not charity.
That’s not diplomacy.
That’s forced redistribution, just with extra steps.

If a program is too expensive to fund here at home, it has no business being funded overseas.

End foreign aid.
To all countries.

Take care of our people first.
Let other governments take responsibility for theirs.

The reason politicians become such corrupt pieces of s**t is because some voters care more about how much a candidate has raised or spent, than what they actually stand for.

So they chase the biggest donors, and surprise, those donors want something in return. The candidates promise them whatever they want in exchange for money.

All of this is so they can brag about raising and spending X amount of dollars, making voters feel like something meaningful was “ACCOMPLISHED.”

In reality, all they did was sell your liberties.

This is exactly why I don’t ask for donations. I’ve only accepted donations from individuals who offered, I’ve never asked for a dime. I don’t support PACs or lobbyists, and I definitely don’t accept donations from any corporations. That’s why I put MY money up front while running, so no one has leverage over me.

I stand for the CONSTITUTION and protecting our LIBERTIES. I can’t be bought. Even in my current career, I’ve been offered expensive gifts and hunting trips, and I’ve turned them down because I believe in INTEGRITY. Most politicians don’t even know what that word means anymore.

If I were in office, the only donations I would ever accept would be from individual Americans, not corporations, not PACs, and not special interests, keeping the campaign truly grassroots.

🗣 My name is Jonathan "Pipeliner" Mitchell and I'm proud to officially announce my candidacy for U.S. Congress to represent Texas' 36th District.

🇺🇲 I'm a proud American patriot and Pipeliner in the Oil & Gas industry, and I’m running to bring that same blue-collar work ethic to Washington.👷‍♂️

🏢 Washington has ignored the working class for too long. It is time to put power back in the hands of hardworking Americans, and take our country back—one job, one community, and one generation at a time.

📜 It is time to get back to the fundamental principles of our Constitutional Republic—laws, liberty, and individual rights.

🗳 I am asking for your support and your vote in the Republican Primary.

👉 Early voting: February 17, 2026-February 27, 2026
👉 Primary Election: March 3, 2026

I’m going to be upfront with everyone, because y’all deserve honesty from the person asking for your vote.

Right now, I work more than 10 hours away from home to provide for my family. I’m not a career politician with unlimited time, or a taxpayer funded salary, I’m a working American doing what many families have to do.

Because of that, I can’t always be physically present in the district. I believe you deserve transparency about that, not excuses, or polished talking points.

With that said, I’m considering hosting live Zoom / town hall style conversations where anyone in the district can join, ask questions, and have a real, open discussion with me.

No scripts. No dodging questions. Just honest conversation.

If this is something you’d be interested in, please comment below, or send me a message. I want this campaign to be accessible, respectful, and built around the people it represents.

The counties I am running to represent with the new district map includes: Angelina, Chambers, Jasper, Hardin, Newton, Tyler, and Jefferson, along with parts of Harris.

With regards to the Venezuela operation, I couldn’t be happier for the Venezuelan people. Nicolas Maduro has spent years crushing the Venezuelan people, stripping them of their liberties, and running one of the most oil rich countries on Earth straight into the ground. The Venezuelan people don’t want him defended, they want him gone.

Meanwhile, parts of the radical left live in a fantasy world, more interested in protecting a dictator than listening to actual Venezuelans. Talk to Venezuelans who fled the regime and you’ll hear the truth, they’re relieved when Maduro loses power, and they want their country, and their liberties, back!

Let’s also stop pretending the oil doesn’t matter. Venezuela holds some of the largest proven oil reserves on the planet. Under a legitimate, non-corrupt government, those resources can be responsibly developed to strengthen U.S. energy security, stabilize global markets, lower energy costs, and reduce dependence on hostile foreign regimes. That means more American jobs, stronger leverage abroad, and less power handed to adversaries.

This isn’t about ideology, it’s about reality.
Liberty for the Venezuelan people.
Energy strength for America.
And an end to the left’s obsession with defending failed dictators.

Reality beats ideology. Every time.

There’s a lot of noise and emotion surrounding the recent ICE incident, but facts and the law still matter. The loss of life is tragic, but emotion cannot replace the law, or the facts.

Federal officers do not need a traffic violation to act when someone physically interferes with a lawful federal operation. Under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 111), physically impeding or obstructing federal officers, including using a vehicle to block or endanger them, is a crime, not protected speech or protest.

You can debate immigration policy.
You can criticize U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. However, you do not get to rewrite the law, or ignore video evidence because it’s politically inconvenient.

The Constitution protects speech and protest.
It does not protect using a vehicle as a weapon, or physically interfering with law enforcement.

Accountability matters for everyone, so do facts.

Let’s be honest, this is the hardest job on December 25th. Forget the elves; this is the true unsung hero of the morning chaos! 💯😂

It’s a thankless duty, but someone has to manage the wrapping paper mountain.

Over these last few days since Charlie’s passing, a scripture has been loud in my heart: Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? And I said, Here am I. Send me.” I feel as if this was Charlie’s scripture. Though he may not be with us physically on earth, he remains with us in our hearts. His memory will not fade, for he did the Lord’s work. He impacted millions of individuals and brought them closer to God. His mission is now tenfold what it was before, and it is steadily growing. People who had never heard of Charlie Kirk are now watching his debates. People who had never been close to God are now falling to their knees, praying to the God they once doubted. God had a plan for Charlie, and Charlie fulfilled it. For what is to come, I can only expect a great awakening.
