Hello my name is A1C Studer, I joined the Air Force in December of 2026. It was a bit nerve racking flying out to BMT but I don’t regret my decision at all it was one of the best decisions I could’ve made for me and my wife’s life. Those 8 weeks taught me a lot about how I should carry myself and go throughout life in the military and outside as well. Right after BMT I went to Sheppard AFB for tech school to become a crew chief on the A-10 and learned how to apply the skills I was taught throughout tech school to be a successful airman in the operational Air Force. Joining the Air Force is something I would recommend to anyone as a career as well as a lifestyle, I have met a ton of awesome people in the past 6 months that I hopefully run into again. Also shoutout to my awesome recruiter SSgt Brundage, he was a major factor in getting the opportunity to be apart of the Air Force. Hello my name is A1C Blood, I joined the Air-force in October of 2025. I am now the 3rd generation that has joined the Air-Force. And join many other family members in the Navy and Army who have served. My dad, who was in the Navy, said before I left for basic there would be life before the basic and a life after. I can wholeheartedly say that statement is true. I am not the same person the day I left for basic versus the person I am now 4 months later. I graduated basic training with Honors and was the only female from my squadron to do so. I was also the only recipient of the Flight Chief Award coming out of Tech school. My job in the Air-Force is Aircraft Fuel Systems where I will be maintaining fuel tanks for fighter jets. My first duty station is RAF Lakenheath in the UK. My reason to join the Air-Force was to better myself, gain life experience, and start building my future. Join the Air-Force to do the same. The lessons I have learned could never have been learned in the civilian world. Join to be apart of something bigger than yourself. Hello my name is A1C Cowin, I joined the Air Force in June of 2025. When I left for BMT I was a bit scared but I am so glad I made the decision. It was great knowing after graduating High School I had a career and steady employment with room for growth. I learned a lot about the Air Force and a lot about myself during those 8 weeks, I am thankful for all of my instructors for pushing me to get me to the Finish line. After BMT I went just a few blocks down the road to the Security Forces Academy. In Tech School I learned a lot about my career field, through applying things that I will be doing in the operational Air Force. Not only did I learn with my hands but also spent a lot of time in the classroom and taking Block tests.
