A red flag warning is in effect.

🚩🔥 So What Is a Red Flag Warning? 🔥🚩

A Red Flag Warning is issued by the National Weather Service when critical fire weather conditions are expected or occurring.

These conditions can include:
🌬️ Strong winds
🌡️ Hot temperatures
💧 Very low humidity
🌱 Dry vegetation that can easily ignite and spread fire

When a Red Flag Warning is in effect, even a small spark can quickly turn into a fast-moving wildfire.

With dry conditions across our region, everyone plays a role in preventing wildfires. A few simple precautions can make a big difference in keeping our community safe.

Stay aware. Stay prepared. Help prevent the next wildfire. 🚒🌲🔥
