WE ARE OPEN 8-4 NEW YEARS EVE & NEW YEARS DAY

Announcement re the Spokane Interstate Fair. We have decided not to go to the fair this year. The cost has gone up again. Even reduced tickets are still $9 per person. There is a 20 ticket minimum purchase. Last year we bought tickets on the word of clients and family members that they would attend and reimburse us. People canceled last minute leaving us stuck with the tickets. $10 parking fee per vehicle. We encourage people to bring their own lunches but everyone wants fair food. Of course they do, so do we! But again another cost. The logistics of getting booth food and finding seating for a group of 10 to 30 people is highly stressful on all of us. Same with toileting. Then we have some people on very tight fixed incomes with no spending money available.And others who come from very financially comfortable homes. Enforcing a no purchase policy was our unpopular solution. This year instead we thought to have a Fair Day here on-site. We have the capability to make cotton candy and funnel cakes. We can have a rubber chicken toss. Play corn hole and horse shoes, watch Charlotte's Web. We can even have a Longhorn BBQ lunch.(the most popular choice at the fair for our group)or chicken strips n fries for the kiddos. We know this decision may be disappointing for some. We still intend to go to Becks Harvest House and possibly another pumpkin patch in October. The cost is about equal to or less than the fair. Parking is usually free. Handicap access is better. The crowds are smaller. There is still fun food to eat and animals to pet. We will reassess next year. Maybe we can split and go in 2 groups on different days. We always strive to be cost conscious on our clients behalf. Thank you for your understanding.

ATTENTION FRIENDS. SEPT SPECIAL EVENTS
Wed. SEPT 2nd Fergusons Cafe your choice lunch or just ice cream. $20 expense money recommended. Wed. Sept. 23rd our final BBQ $10 per person. Please rsvp and have your $10 turned in by Mon. the 21st. Menu will be hamburger or hotdog. (Chicken if I can find a great buy!) Baked beans, chips, cold pasta salad, rootbeer or sweet tea to drink and S'MORES for dessert!

Hi everyone! Quick reminder, we will be closed on Monday Sept. 7th for the Labor Day holiday.

Additionally we will be making some changes to our program. We are going to start offering a limited breakfast menu. Start date not set yet. Let us know of other ideas, changes or improvements you would like to see develop. Remember if you are happy here please tell others. If you are not, please tell us. We can't address issues that we aren't aware of.
