📚🐆 LIDGERWOOD LEOPARDS — LET’S GET CAUGHT READING! 🐆

We’re building a school-wide “Look Who Got Caught Reading!” display, and we want our Leopard readers on the wall!

📸 SNAP IT!
Take a picture of your Leopard reading anywhere they love to read — at home, outside, with a pet, at practice, on a trip… anywhere!

💌 SEND IT!
Send a printed 4×6 photo to school OR email your picture to Ken Jones at [email protected].

🖨️ No printer? No problem! We are happy to print your photo for you!
Please include your student’s name and classroom teacher.

Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 3-4 p.m
Season: September 2nd- October 5th (All City on October 13th for qualifying runners)

🐾 KINDNESS KICKOFF + SWAG DAY! 🐾

Friday, September 4

We’re kicking off the school year with kindness AND Leopard pride!
Students and staff are invited to wear Lidgerwood school colors or school SWAG as we come together for our Kindness Kickoff Assembly.

❤️ Why combine SWAG Day and Kindness Kickoff?
School pride is about more than what we wear. It is about knowing:
WE BELONG.
WE CARE.
WE ARE ON THE SAME TEAM.

When we feel connected to our school, we can use that pride to make positive choices for the people around us.

At our Kindness Kickoff, students will practice three simple steps:
🐾 NOTICE what someone might need.
🐾 CHOOSE a kind action.
🐾 ACT with care.

Kindness can be as simple as:
Say hello. • Include someone. • Help. • Encourage.
A school shirt may show our Leopard pride—but our actions show what being a Leopard really means.

❤️🐾 Let’s fill Lidgerwood with school spirit, belonging, and kindness.

LITTLE SLUGGERS: Registration for our PreK-2nd grade T-ball program with Spokane Indians Youth Baseball & Softball closes Aug. 13, but waitlist registrations will be accepted as long as space is available on teams!

Teams are formed based on neighborhood elementary school so kids can learn baseball fundamentals and teamwork with their peers.
