Apparently, there’s been a little territorial dispute brewing in the Rock Hill courtyard. 😂 Ginger has a favorite “private spot,” and it seems our neighborhood squirrel didn’t get the memo before choosing the exact same location for his winter pantry. 🐱🐿️💩

We imagine the conversation went something like this…

🐿️ Squirrel: “Have you seen where I buried my snacks?”

🐱 Ginger: “You mean over there by the bushes?”

🐿️: “YES! That’s my winter stash.”

🐱 Ginger: “Ohhhh… 😬”

🐿️: “What?”

🐱 Ginger: “Nothing.”

🐿️: “Ginger. WHAT?”

🐱 Ginger: “That’s… kinda where I poop.”

🐿️: “YOU WHAT?!”

🐱 Ginger: “I’ve been pooping there for YEARS! You’re the one burying food in my bathroom!”

🐿️: “MY ACORNS ARE IN THERE!”

🐱 Ginger: “Well…I’d wash those.” 😹

Looks like someone should have checked with the property manager before choosing a storage location. 😂

8/12/2026 update!! ✨

💛 We’re tentatively planning to begin re-admitting patients on August 24. Please know this date may change as we work to ensure a safe and smooth transition for everyone.

We anticipate the re-admission process will take about 4–5 days. We’ll continue to share updates as we get closer and have more definite information.

❤️ 8/11/2026 Update: A Little Update for Our Residents, Families & Community ❤️

We know many of you are waiting for answers and wondering when we will be able to return to our building. At this time, unfortunately, we don’t have any new information to share regarding a timeline.

Please know that we are still working hard behind the scenes, navigating the cleanup, inspections, and all of the requirements that have come with the fire and its aftermath. We are doing everything we possibly can to move things along and get our residents back home and our building up and running as soon as it is safely possible.

We’ve also received quite a few questions about personal belongings that are still inside the building. We completely understand the concern. As soon as we are given the all-clear that it is safe for residents and families to enter, we will do everything we can to make sure everyone is able to get their belongings back safely.

We know this waiting and uncertainty isn’t easy. ❤️ Please continue to bear with us as we work through this process. There are many moving pieces right now, but please know that our residents and families are always at the forefront of our minds.

As soon as we have something new and confirmed to share, we promise we will keep you updated.
