Community Frameworks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that facilitates the construction of safe, quality and affordable housing for people in the Northwest. Community Frameworks facilitates the construction, rehabilitation and purchase of affordable housing, providing homeownership and rental opportunities for hardworking families in the Northwest. Community Frameworks’ first-time homebuyer
program offers new construction homeownership opportunities with affordable monthly payments to qualified buyers. Our Certified Housing Counselors teach education classes on budgeting, credit and mortgage basics to help families become mortgage ready. Community Frameworks’ Development Services team works with city, county, tribal, non-profit and other entities as a full-service real-estate developer to provide project planning, determine feasibility, assemble financing packages and facilitate the construction of affordable housing and/or supportive service facilities. This includes apartment buildings, emergency shelters, senior housing, and special needs housing and services. Community Frameworks Self-help Homeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP) uses grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide zero-interest forgivable loans to non-profit organizations and public agencies that sponsor self-help homeownership programs in the Northwest.
