Did you know? Basics & Beyond, RD is rooted in the heart of Washington State but spreads its wings all the way to the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴 Founded and headquartered in WA, our mission is to uplift underserved communities, especially children, right here in DR.

We believe in the power of compassion and action. From providing essential food, water, and medicine to ensuring every child has access to education, we're dedicated to building brighter futures. 💫

This summer, our focus is sharper than ever. We're doubling down on two key programs:

🍲 Food & Medicine: Ensuring no one goes to bed hungry or without the care they need.
📚 Education: Creating a scholarship fund for students to attend Maggio Multicultural Academy.

🌟🤗 We are so grateful for all the love and support from our community! We are a US Incorporated 501c3 Non-Profit based here in DR, our mission is to lend a helping hand to the underserved populations, providing essentials like food, clean water, medicine, and hygiene products. 🍲💧💊

Right now, we're focusing on assisting children and families in need, particularly Dominican-born Haitian children and displaced Haitian children, by fulfilling their basic needs. Cash donations are incredibly impactful for us as they allow us to procure essential items directly within the local communities. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. 🌍💙

We also recognize the importance of showing compassion and generosity, especially during the current crisis in Haiti. If you're able to help, you can donate directly via Cash App, and if you need a receipt for tax purposes, please let us know. It's important to note that we have very minimal overhead expenses, all of which are covered by volunteers, so 95% of donated money goes directly to the people in need. 🙏

What a wonderful day! We had the privilege of serving a family in Veron today. A mother and her 8 children were blessed with groceries, diapers and medicine today. Donations are needed and appreciated to keep the blessings flowing! 🇩🇴

What a blessing! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 We were able to feed aprox 50 people today! Pictures we post are only to show the work that is being done, so our donors can see where the money is going. We will never intentionally post pictures that are demeaning to anyone we serve. 🥰🇩🇴🙏🏾
