This week, our Kindergarten and 1st grade students had the exciting opportunity to “shop” at a special book fair right here at school and choose 12 books of their very own to keep and enjoy all summer long! 📚☀️
Ridgeview is grateful to partner with the Page Ahead Children’s Literacy Program through the Book Up Summer program. Research shows that reading over the summer helps students maintain the skills they learned during the school year and prepares them for a strong start in the fall.
One of the best ways to encourage a love of reading is by making sure children have books they are excited to read at home. We are so thankful to be part of a program that helps put books directly into the hands of our students! 💙📖

🌸☀️ Spring is in the air, and our students are making the most of it!
Our 3rd–5th graders have been working incredibly hard on state testing, showing focus, determination, and resilience. We’re so proud of their efforts! 👏
A big shoutout as well to our K–2nd grade students for doing an amazing job keeping our hallways quiet and supportive—your teamwork helps everyone succeed! 💛
To celebrate all that hard work, we are taking lunch outside this week with a picnic under the trees. Fresh air, sunshine, and smiles all around make for a perfect spring week! 🌳🧺
Great job, everyone—keep up the amazing work!

We put a fun twist on our annual spring door decorating contest this year by celebrating Earth Day! 🌎✨
Classrooms got creative using recycled materials to design their doors—and the results were amazing! From previous student work to cardboard creations, the ideas were both fun and inspiring. ♻️🎨
Take a look at these incredible designs and see if you can guess… who do you think won? 👀🏆

Our 2nd and 3rd grade Spring Concerts were a hit! 🌸🎶
From the familiar notes of “Hot Cross Buns” to the playful sounds of “Hawaii 6.0,” our students showcased their musical talents with recorders and xylophones, bringing smiles and energy to the stage. Each classroom delivered a performance full of enthusiasm, creativity, and growth. It was truly a joy to watch!
A big thank you to our music teacher, Mr. Roeber, for his dedication and hard work in preparing our students. We’re also so grateful for the continued support of our amazing Ridgeview community.
Bravo to all of our young musicians on a fantastic performance! 👏🎵

Our 2nd grade students had an unforgettable field trip to Texas Roadhouse! 🤠🍽️
They got a behind-the-scenes look at how the restaurant operates and even had the chance to make their own lunch—what a fun and hands-on experience! From learning about teamwork in the kitchen to enjoying the food they helped create, it was a day full of excitement and learning.
