Homelessness isn't random. In Spokane we are watching trends to see if homelessness can be prevented before it starts. Turns out, it can. We just all need to work together.

Summertime is here! It's a fun season, but for families who are unstably housed or facing homelessness, summer also presents some unique challenges:
-Higher food costs. Free or reduced meals at school keep kids fed. When school's out, food costs for families skyrocket.
-Childcare crisis! Free days are fun for kiddos, but less so for working parents need to find childcare-- and fast.
Welcome to Home For Summer, a new social media miniseries from Family Promise of Spokane. Grab a popsicle, slide into your flip flops, and join us as we explore the hurdles summertime poses for families, and how we can address them as a community.

We had the honor of helping Sleep in Heavenly Peace - Spokane deliver and build two beds for a former Family Promise of Spokane family. For the first time these two kids had their very own big kid beds! They were so excited.

We love to partner with organizations that care for our community, and make Spokane a better place for all.
