Cider & Cookies – Friday, November 14 3:30-4:30 �Come join us on the blacktop right after school for our annual Cider & Cookies event hosted by our amazing PTG! Enjoy a cup of warm cider or cocoa, a cookie (or two!), and time to connect with other families and staff. Please note that this is a family event—students must be accompanied by an adult.
�Stick around during Cider & Cookies for our first-ever Western Hootenanny, led by music teacher Mrs. Mindi Shaw! Each grade level has been learning a few fun western songs to share, and lyrics will be passed out so everyone can sing along. It’ll be a rootin’-tootin’ good time for all! Music starts at 4.

One of our favorite fall traditions is back — the Moran Prairie Scholastic Book Fair! The library will be filled with books of all kinds — from exciting new releases and beloved classics to cookbooks, graphic novels, and even fun learning utensils and school supplies. Students love browsing the shelves, making wish lists, and discovering that perfect new read!

🗓 Dates & Times (in the Library):
Monday, Nov. 3: 3:00–4:30 PM
Tuesday, Nov. 4: 3:00–4:30 PM
Wednesday, Nov. 5: 3:00–7:00 PM (Late Night!)
Thursday, Nov. 6: 3:00–4:30 PM

Card or check accepted each day
Cash accepted only on Wednesday, Nov. 5 during our late night hours

⚠️Important Reminders:
All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian — students may not attend the fair alone.
If your child rides the bus home, they must go home first and return with a parent, unless you plan to meet them at school right at dismissal (3:00 PM). We’re unable to provide supervision for students after dismissal.

📖 The Book Fair is a wonderful way to spark a love of reading, support our library, and stock up on cozy fall reads. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our Costume Drive is back!

Halloween is just around the corner, and we know how much time and money goes into finding the perfect costumes. Many of us hold on to gently used costumes, hoping to use them again. If you have any gently used or new costumes you'd like to donate, we invite you to contribute to our Costume Drive. You can send the costumes in with your student or drop them off in our designated donation box.

Our Service Community and Kindness Club will be teaming up to upcycle these costumes into a free Costume Shop here at Moran Prairie. Families are welcome to come "shop" Wednesdays in October, from 3-4 PM, at the front entrance of our school.
