UPDATE: We have been GENEROUSLY blessed by not ONE but TWO AC units donated to us by Ben Greenwood Seriously what a blessing this guy is. Not only did he donate these units, he CARRIED both of them up our dang staircase...IYKYK😪 Thank you, Ben!

We are still in need of Men's clothing, specifically boxers and shirts in sizes small and mediums 🙂

As always thank you so much to those who donate and volunteer their time, and thank you to those who spread the word. Our ambassadors mean the world to us here at Cup of Cool Water 🩵

Summer is right around the corner, and we have an immediate need at Cup of Cool Water🌞 Last week, the AC unit in our cot room stopped working. This space provides a safe place for youth to rest, and during the warmer months it can become incredibly hot upstairs in our Drop-In Center. A working window AC unit would make a huge difference in keeping our youth comfortable and safe this summer. If you or someone you know has a gently used or new AC or you'd like to bless us we would greatly appreciate the help💙

If you're unable to donate, sharing this post helps us reach someone who can. Thank you for continuing to show up for Spokane's youth.

Our team learned so much last week at the Spokane Christian Generosity Council’s Mission Increase workshop! We’re especially grateful for staff and volunteers like Ian and Rodger, who held down the fort so our team could attend. Their support is such a blessing and makes opportunities like this possible. We can’t wait to take what we learned and put it into action!

At Cup of Cool Water, we see the heartbreak of the mental health crisis every day. We meet young people who feel forgotten, invisible, and alone. Battles with anxiety, depression, trauma, loneliness. The crushing feeling that nobody sees them and nobody cares. And right here in our city, so many youth and young adults are carrying those battles while simply trying to survive. Young people who don’t need judgment, they need compassion. Connection. Hope.

Pictured here is Ashleigh, Co-Chair of our Board, whose heart for serving vulnerable young adults reflects the mission behind everything we do: making sure people feel seen, heard, valued, and loved.

Because sometimes the reason someone keeps going is because one person stopped long enough to listen. One person cared enough to notice. One person reminded them they mattered.

You are seen.
You are heard.
You are loved.
You matter. Always. 💚

Right now at Cup of Cool Water, we have an URGENT need for men’s clothing, especially jeans in sizes 28, 30, 32, and 34. While we gladly accept both men’s and women’s clothing, the need for men’s items is especially high right now.

As you clean out your closets this spring, consider setting aside a few items to give. What you no longer need could make an immediate difference for someone in our community💐

Your generosity helps meet real, pressing needs and reminds each person who walks through our doors that they are seen and valued. If you’re able to donate, we would be deeply grateful. And if not, sharing this post helps us reach others who can 💙

At Cup of Cool Water, we see firsthand how much these everyday essentials matter 🤍

This is our current needs list—items that directly support the young people we serve each day. Every donation helps us continue providing care, dignity, and a safe place to land. If you’re looking for another way to give, We’ve also created a separate Amazon needs list and we update it monthly with other needs that could be met. Just click the link below, shop and it will be sent directly to us 🩵
