Our Candy Wall is more than just a fun treat, it’s a little moment of joy for the children and families who call our House home during a difficult time. From picking out a favorite candy to sharing a sweet surprise after a long day, these small moments can mean so much. 🍭✨

This week, we’re stocking up our Hospitality Cart with little items that can make a big difference for children and families during long days at the hospital. 🏥✨

We’re currently in need of:

🍎 Grab-and-go snacks
🪥 Individual mouthwash, floss picks & chapstick
🧸 Small toys and activities

Our Hospitality Cart allows volunteers to bring comfort, snacks, and a little bit of joy directly to families and children. Whether it’s a quick snack, a helpful hygiene item, or a small toy to brighten someone’s day, these simple things can make a meaningful difference. 💛

Thanks to our founding and forever mission partner, McDonald's, and their partnership with FIFA World Cup, Ronald McDonald House families experienced the FIFA World Cup™ in unforgettable ways.

The FIFA World Cup™ has a unique way of bringing people together across countries, cultures and communities, and every day, Ronald McDonald House does the same.

Families travel from across their cities, states and even countries to access the medical care their children need. Along the way, when staying with Ronald McDonald House, they find comfort, connection and a community that reminds them they aren't alone. This summer, 25 families from across the United States, Canada and Mexico came together to experience the excitement of the world's game.

From cheering alongside thousands of fans and stepping onto the pitch to meeting FIFA mascots and creating once-in-a-lifetime memories together, these moments were about so much more than the game.

For families who spend so much of their time focused on hospital stays, treatments and medical appointments, this was an opportunity to simply be together to celebrate, make memories and experience the joy of the world's game.

This summer, thanks to our founding and forever mission partner, McDonald's, and their partnership with FIFA World Cup, Ronald McDonald House families are experiencing unforgettable FIFA World Cup™ moments across North America. For the McBride and Reeves families, it was another chapter in a friendship that began nearly 10 years ago inside Ronald McDonald House Kansas City.

While staying at the House as their children received medical care, the two families found comfort, understanding and support in one another. What began during a season of uncertainty grew into a lifelong friendship that has continued long after they returned home.

This weekend, they created another special memory together at FIFA World Cup™ Kansas City Stadium – a full-circle moment that reflected the power of the Ronald McDonald House community.

At Ronald McDonald House, families often arrive as strangers, but many leave with a community that stays with them for years to come. It's a powerful reminder that while our Houses provide comfort and care close to the medical care families need, they also create space for connections that can last a lifetime.
