This week, we're in need of grab-and-go individually packaged snacks. These items may seem small, but they can make a world of difference to our families. For decades, McDonald's and Ronald McDonald House Charities have shared a simple goal: helping families stay close when it matters most.

What began as a partnership rooted in compassion has grown into a global mission that has supported millions of families with children receiving medical care. From Round Up donations to community support, every act of generosity helps create comfort, connection, and a home-away-from-home.

This throwback from the Grand Opening of the South House shows how far back this partnership goes, and how impactful it is to families across the region. Ronald McDonald himself shows up for the mission, just as we strive to do every day.

💛 Laughs That Give Back 💛

We're incredibly grateful to Spokane Comedy Club and Tacoma Comedy Club for supporting Ronald McDonald House families through their ticket donation program!

Now through the end of June, when guests purchase tickets to select shows, you may add a dollar (or as much as you’d like) to donate to Ronald McDonald House, helping provide comfort, care, and a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical treatment.

It's a simple way to enjoy a night of laughter while making a meaningful difference for families in our community.

Today, we honor and celebrate Cooper Schulke’s birthday.

We are deeply grateful to Cooper's family for honoring his memory through a special donut celebration with Hello Sugar at Ronald McDonald House.

Through this thoughtful act of kindness, Cooper's legacy continues to bring comfort, smiles, and moments of joy to families facing difficult days. What a beautiful way to remember and celebrate a life that continues to make a difference in the lives of others.

Today, we ask everyone to tell someone around you a joke. Whether it's a knock-knock joke, a pun or some stand up, Cooper loved to tell a joke and we loved to hear them.

We are honored to be part of Cooper's story and thankful to his family for sharing his memory with our House and the families we serve.

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Tina Kosmicki 🌟

We are incredibly grateful for Tina and the impact she has made in just 7 months of volunteering.

Tina is a visionary and a doer—bringing creative ideas, engineering expertise, and strong organizational skills to help move our organization forward. She approaches every project with humility, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to serve.

One of Tina's biggest contributions has been helping organize our pantry and launching our inventory system, creating a more efficient way to serve families. Most recently, she organized a community planting day, coordinating donated plants and volunteer support so families have access to tomatoes, herbs, and other seasonal plants.

Thank you, Tina, for sharing your talents, time, and heart with our community. 💚

This incredible group of student volunteers from Assumption Parish Catholic School's Student Council rolled up their sleeves and filled our kitchen with the sights, smells, and sounds of breakfast being made with care.
