The Community Club of Lewis-McChord would like to invite you to the Dedication Ceremony of the Washington Fallen Heroes Memorial at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Memorial Display
Open to the public immediately following the dedication on May 21 and available for viewing daily from sunrise to sunset through May 28, 2026.

Resource Fair
Immediately following the dedication, a resource fair will be held on-site from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering information, support services, and opportunities for community connection.

This memorial display represents the Illuminating Courage Memorial, originated by the Fallen Heroes Project, honoring service members from Washington State and North Idaho who served in the post-9/11 era and gave their lives in service or as a result of their service.

Today, the memorial includes 385 fallen heroes. Each name represents a life of courage, sacrifice, and service. This memorial is a place for reflection, remembrance, and connection, honoring not only their service, but their lives and the loved ones who carry their memory forward.
