This memorial display represents the Illuminating Courage Memorial, originated by the Fallen Heroes Project, honoring service members from Washington State and North Idaho who served in the post-9/11 era and gave their lives in service or as a result of their service.
Today, the memorial includes 385 fallen heroes. Each name represents a life of courage, sacrifice, and service. This memorial is a place for reflection, remembrance, and connection, honoring not only their service, but their lives and the loved ones who carry their memory forward.
