Spokane Regional Transportation Council

Spokane Regional Transportation Council Regional transportation decisions start here. Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization for Spokane County.

SRTC brings together partners, decision-makers and community members to shape the future of transportation in our region. SRTC encourages coordination and collaboration between planning and transportation departments in the City of Spokane, Spokane Valley, Spokane County, the Washington State Department of Transportation and small cities and towns to assure connectivity throughout Spokane County.

Services offered by SRTC include transportation monitoring and modeling, census information and analysis, travel demand forecasting, historical traffic count analysis, geographic information systems, trip generation rates and traffic analysis zone data. In addition, SRTC advocates for local transportation improvements to receive state and federal funding.

The 2026 update to the Coordinated Public Transit–Human Services Transportation Plan is now available for public comment!

The plan identifies transportation service gaps throughout Spokane County and outlines strategies and next steps to address them. It also includes a comprehensive inventory of transportation service providers and contact information.

We encourage the community to review the draft plan and share feedback before the public comment period closes on June 16. 🚌📍
