SPRING CLEAN-UP & LEAF PICK-UP
SATURDAY, MAY 16, 2026
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Leaf Pickup
Leaves must be in biodegradable bags.
Please put out the night before.

Drop Off:
Appliances & Electronics
at Northwest Regional Planning:
1400 S River St., Spooner
Appliances and electronics will not be accepted at city shop.

Drop Off:
Mattress/Box Spring, Furniture, Scrap Metal, Misc items
at City Shop, 513 Paulson Dr., Spooner
This list is a sample of things that are accepted at the city shop.

Items Not Accepted:
Tires, Hazardous Waste products, Batteries,
Fluorescent Bulbs, Construction Material, Food Waste
This is not a complete list of unacceptable items.

Attention City of Spooner residents: the City experienced a water main break last night. If you experience brown water, please run one, cold water faucet for 15 minutes until it clears. If you continue to experience brown water, please call City Hall on Monday. City Hall office opens at 8:00 a.m. 715-635-8769

Winter Parking Restrictions go into effect starting tomorrow:

CITY OF SPOONER
WINTER PARKING ORDINANCE

Section 10 – 1 – 27 Parking, Stopping, and Standing Regulated

(d) Winter Parking
(1) No person, firm or corporation shall park a motor vehicle on any street or city owned parking lot within the City of Spooner during or after a snowstorm until such time as the snow has been removed to the curb.
(2) In order to facilitate the efficient and expeditious removal of snow from City streets and parking lots during winter months, it shall be unlawful for any vehicle to park on any City Street, traveled public right-of-way, or parking lot from November 1 to March 31 from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
(3) Any person, firm or corporation violating this Section shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00), nor more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00)
(4) Any vehicle left parked on any street or parking lot, shall be towed and the expense thereof shall be charged to the owner or operator of said vehicle.
(5) Parking on the lot on Front Street between Oak and Walnut Street will be restricted to a 12-hour duration.
