The Borough of Spotswood has proudly proclaimed Wednesday, April 29, 2026, as Asher Garcia Day in honor of a brave young resident and his journey with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH).

The Spotswood Police Department and Spotswood PBA Local 225 have long stood beside Asher and his family, supporting him every step of the way.

We invite all residents to show their support by wearing blue, pink, yellow, or white on April 29. Let’s come together as a community to recognize Asher’s courage and raise awareness for CDH.

National Public Safety Telecommunications Week

This week, we proudly recognize and honor the dedicated dispatchers of the Spotswood Police Department.

These men and women are the calm voice in the chaosβ€”the first to answer the call when seconds matter most. Behind the scenes, they work tirelessly to ensure our officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Their professionalism, quick thinking, and unwavering commitment keep our community safe every single day. While they may not always be seen, their impact is felt in every emergency response and every life helped.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to Spotswood. We are grateful for all that you do.

🚨 SCAM ALERT β€” FAKE COURT NOTICE 🚨

This image is NOT a real legal document. It is a fraudulent notice designed to scare people into paying money or sharing personal information.

Scammers are increasingly using fake court letters, traffic violations, and official-looking documents to appear legitimate. Always verify any legal notice directly through official government channels before taking action.

⚠️ Stay vigilant:
β€’ Do not scan unknown QR codes
β€’ Do not send payments without verification
β€’ Contact your local court or authority directly

Help spread awareness and protect others from falling victim to these ongoing scams.
