GAD’s End of Summer Celebration

Generations A.D. held their End of Summer Celebration at the Ruritan Club on Plank Road on July 23rd from 12:30 – 4:30 PM. Generations A.D. (GAD) Youth Center is committed to empowering and supporting families with youth ages 12-16. One of their goals with this event was to help reduce the fear and anxiety that some youth may experience when interacting with law enforcement by creating a positive, relaxed, and engaging experience.

Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office members Sgt. Taylor and Dep. Porter represented the agency at this event and had a great time with all of the young men and women present. Nothing is more important to the future of our county than our youth and the Sheriff’s Office was proud to be able to participate at such a worthwhile event.
