Rhea Rescue Like our page for Community Updates as well as Rescue Techniques, Tips, and Tricks. In addition we function as back up districts with the Rhea County Vol.

The Rhea County Rescue Squad Inc is an all volunteer, non profit organization which was founded in 1964. We provide various emergency rescue services within the geographic boundaries of Rhea County. Operations are conducted from our two stations located at 260 McGoffin Ave in Spring City and at 2403 Railroad St in Dayton. The services our organization provide include Vehicle Extrication, Search, a

nd Water Search & Recovery. We also have a specially trained teams in Swift Water Rescue and High Angle Rope Rescue operations. Fire Dept. We are currently seeking new volunteers to join our organization. Prospective individuals must be a minimum of 18 years old and be willing to attend necessary training sessions. Applicants are required to provide personal references and are subject to a background check.

Congratulations to one of our own.

Rhea County 911 would like to take a moment and recognize Assistant Director Darlene Monroe. While attending this year’s 911 Winter Workshop, Darlene was inducted into the Tennessee 911 Hall of Honor.

Darlene joins Director Shane Clark, as well as six Rhea County 911 Board Members to receive the Tennessee 911 Hall of Honor Award. Board Member recipients since 2012 are: Bo Kaylor, Sarah McDaniel, Ted Jones, Bob Piolatto, Billy Thedford and Tommy Solomon.

Congratulations Darlene, and Thank You for your service and dedication to 911.
