Mayor Adam Alberico’s Journey of Service
Mayor Adam Alberico’s life story is defined by service, resilience, and a deep commitment to community. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Adam discovered his calling at an early age. At just 14, he joined the North Bellmore Fire Department as a Junior Firefighter, and by 18, he became a state-certified firefighter and EMT in 1994. This early dedica
tion to public service would go on to shape every chapter of his life. While volunteering as a firefighter and working part-time in the emergency room as an EMT-D, Adam also pursued a career in television. He began as a camera operator in New York, contributing his talents to nationally recognized shows including Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News Channel, BET, and All My Children, among many others. In 2003, Adam relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he balanced his career in television with his passion for emergency medicine. He served in busy trauma hospitals as an Emergency Room Technician, working with both adult and pediatric patients. During this time, he also volunteered with Angel Fire Department, an organization dedicated to supporting children with special needs. Life brought Adam and his family to Pennsylvania in 2018, after learning his mother—who remained in New York—had been diagnosed with cancer. Wanting to be closer to family, Adam and his wife moved with their children, Daniel and Cooper, to Spring City, where they established their home. Tragically, in 2021, Adam and his wife experienced the devastating loss of their son, Daniel, who passed away from cancer at the age of 21. This loss further deepened Adam’s resolve to dedicate his life to helping others. Upon settling in Spring City, Adam immediately reconnected with his roots in volunteer firefighting, joining both Liberty Fire Company and The Royersford Fire Department. Today, he continues to serve as an active firefighter and holds the role of Vice President at the Royersford Fire Department, where he remains a trusted leader and first responder in the community. Professionally, Adam embraced a new path as a Patient Advocate at a local hospital, where he works tirelessly to ensure every patient has a voice in their care. His advocacy role, combined with his years of emergency medical experience, reflects his unwavering commitment to compassion and service. On April 28, Adam was appointed Mayor of Spring City, marking a new chapter in his public service journey. As Mayor, he has focused on strengthening community bonds, enhancing public safety, and advocating for initiatives that improve the quality of life for Spring City residents. His leadership is guided by the same principles that have defined his life: service, integrity, and dedication to others. Outside of his professional and civic responsibilities, Adam cherishes time with his family. He and his wife enjoy time with their children—Summer and Cooper—and their three grandchildren. Together, they often take walks with their beloved dog, Westley, along the scenic Schuylkill River Trail, finding peace and joy in simple family moments. Mayor Adam Alberico’s journey is one of service at every level—whether in the firehouse, the emergency room, behind the camera, or in public office. His life reflects a steadfast commitment to helping others, honoring family, and building stronger communities.
