Yarn Rocks! Bonus! ~June 30th, 5:00-7:00 PM

Come to the Library next Tuesday evening, to learn a new skill! Or to meet fellow knitters in the community; come for help (beginner to mid-level knitting help available); come to learn new skills or brush up on current skills; come to get out of the house for a few hours; come for the health benefits (recent research out of Denmark demonstrated the overall health benefits of craft work, including knitting and crocheting).

Join us when you can. Tell your knitting/ crocheting friends to join us.

One of the things we love most about Spring Green is the support we get from our patrons and from our local businesses.

With thanks to the Spring Green Area Chamber of Commerce for coordinating this, we have received donations from Cardinal CG Spring Green and Royal Bank to purchase the books pictured here. We really appreciate you all!

This beautiful book was recommended by staff and patrons alike as a possible purchase, and we are happy to share that it is now available at our Library!

It was purchased in memory of our dear co-worker, Renee, who passed away last year. Renee loved and cared for our nine American Girl dolls during her time working at the Library, and she did it so well, She would've loved this book! đź’—

We like all the details shared in the book, which include the history of the Pleasant Company, and founder Pleasant Rowland's first plans. The book also includes material from the AG archives, some previously never seen by the public. The Renée Graef Illustrations are so wonderful, and we just know you will want to take a look!

Our dolls continue to be very popular, and are always gone on adventures with our young patrons. They are available as a walk-in checkout only. Many times there are none available when someone asks. If you are interested in either the book, or the dolls, just ask at the circulation desk, or place a hold on the book with your SCLS library card.
