February is American Heart Month, which means now is a great time to think about earning or renewing your CPR certification.

A CPR class will be held at the Spring Green Fire & EMS Station on Thursday, March 5th. Sign up now via the Spring Green General Store (608-588-7070 or stop in). Space is limited! Many thanks to our friends at the General Store for organizing this training session.

We are saddened to inform the community that retired FF/Amb Driver Kelly Feiner passed away this past Wednesday after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Kelly retired from the Fire & EMS departments on January 31st, 2025 after serving for 32 years. Funeral services will be this coming Thursday Nov 22nd. Please visit the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home website for more information. Please keep Kelly's wife Char and their daughter Riley and the entire Feiner family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

We hope that everyone had a Safe & Happy Halloween! We loved seeing all the trick-or-treaters who visited the ambulances 🎃

The rig at the Spring Green Community Center was decked out for the occasion thanks to EMT Dave, as part of the new “What the Health?” initiative partnering with the Community Center and Sauk County Health Services. Pop into the Spring Green Community Center’s entry vestibule 24/7 for harm reduction tools such as Narcan and drug testing kits, as well as general safety information.

Local night to benefit the Spring Green Fire/EMS will be September 8th, Monday night. Please put it on your calendar and come out to support us. Check out our new ambulance and meet your local fire fighters and EMTs. Plan on supper at the Shed garden! We are here for you!
