Small-town mystery alert!

A bag full of what looks like some high-end hand and body lotion was left behind at the park.

If it's yours, call City Hall at 507-498-5221 and tell us the brand name so we can reunite you with your lotion.

We can't guarantee your flowers got watered this weekend, but we can guarantee your lotion is safe at City Hall.

Community Reminder: Juvenile Curfew Ordinance

The City of Spring Grove has recently observed several instances of juveniles in our city parks and other public areas during late-night and early morning hours, including times that are past the City's established curfew. These observations have been made through the City's security camera systems.

This is a friendly reminder that Chapter 140 – Juvenile Curfew is in effect to help promote the safety and well-being of our youth.

Curfew Hours:
Age 16 and under
• Sunday–Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Ages 17–18
• Sunday–Thursday: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Friday & Saturday: 11:59 PM – 6:00 AM

During these hours, it is unlawful for minors to remain in public places within the City of Spring Grove unless an exception under Chapter 140 applies. The ordinance also makes it the responsibility of parents and guardians to know the whereabouts of their children and to ensure they comply with the City's curfew regulations.

We appreciate your partnership in helping keep our community safe. Thank you for taking a moment to check in with your children and remind them of these curfew hours.

To review the complete Chapter 140 – Juvenile Curfew Ordinance, along with all City ordinances, please visit:

The City Council passed the Code of Ordinances at their  council meeting on July 20, 2004.  Updates have been made as necessary. An enacting ordinance has also been passed and published.  The entire Code is now in effect.

We're not saying the Spring Grove Fire Department enjoyed training more than the kids...but the smiles might say otherwise. 😀 💧

Nothing beats a hot summer evening, a fire hose, and a whole bunch of giggling kids who volunteered to get completely soaked! Thanks to our firefighters for making training fun while creating memories our community won't forget. 🚒
