TRAFFIC ALERT REMINDER: 199th St.

There will be a complete road closure on 199th St., between Norton St. and Renner Road, on Wednesday, Aug. 26 and Thursday, Aug. 27, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

There should be no disruption during school hours.

Commuters will be able to access the Spring Hill District Administrative Center and Prairie Ridge neighborhood from Ridgeview Road.

Reminders:
- Attending a public hearing about exceeding the revenue neutral rate and the 2027 City Budget during the Aug. 27 City Council meeting. Can't make this meeting? There will be another public hearing abut the same topics at the Sept. 10 City Council meeting.

- The City Council and Planning Commission will hold a joint work session on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 6-7 p.m. at the Spring Hill Civic Center.

- Attend a public open house about the Comprehensive Plan on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4-7 p.m. at the Civic Center. Learn more about the project, and share your priorities for the new plan!

- You can now apply to be one of this year's charitable organizations for the 2026 Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund. Applications are due by Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, for consideration. Apply today at www.springhillks.gov/treefund

There will be a complete road closure on 199th St., between Ridgeview to Renner roads, on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Construction crews will mill the north side of the street during this time to get ready for the new road and curbs.

There should be no disruption during school hours. Thank you for your patience.

Don't forget! Our dog swim is TOMORROW! 🐶💦

Stop by the Aquatic Center between noon and 3 p.m. for a hot diggity dog good time.

This event is FREE to the public.

Remember these dog swim rules:
• Your dog must wear its collar and tags in the pool area.
• Please keep your dog on a leash when not swimming.
• You won't be allowed to swim or wade in the pool.
• You may bring tennis balls and toys for your dog to play with in the pool. If your dog doesn't retrieve the toy, staff will net it out if possible.
• If your dog eliminates on the deck or in grass area, please dispose of it in a trash can.
• We will ask you to leave if your dog displays aggressive behavior.
