150th Anniversary of the Battle of Spring Hill at Rippavilla With cooperation from the Civil War Trust, Rippavilla commemorated the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Spring Hill, Nov. 28 - 30, 2014.

2014 marks the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Spring Hill and a commemoration is planned for the weekend of November 28th - 30th. We hope you attend at least a portion of the event. To date, we have a few of the most acclaimed reenacting units registered, i.e. 7th Tennessee Cavalry, Maury Light Artillery, Antebellum Girls School, Porter’s Battery and Ladies Soldiers Friends Society. ple in Uncommon Times: The Civil War Experience in Tennessee, a traveling exhibit organized by Tennessee State Museum in Commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War will be on display in the house during November and included in all house tours; another reason to visit us!
