Spring Hill High School is located in Spring Hill, Kansas, just southwest of metropolitan Kansas City. The high school is a part of the Spring Hill School District, which serves the cities of Spring Hill, Olathe and Overland Park as well as areas in Johnson and Miami Counties. Recently built, it is a four-year comprehensive high school with a student population of approximately 600 students in gra

des 9 through 12. It is fully accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education. Picture Day is TOMORROW!!!
- Students will take photos during their English class. Those with no English class need to ask another teacher's permission to go.
- No hats or hoods are allowed during photos even though they are allowed during the school day.
- Props like fake glasses or any others that obscure the face are not allowed.
- Every Bronco, even seniors who plan to submit a photo to the yearbook, must have a new photo taken for informational and security purposes.
- Students absent on picture day should absolutely plan to be present the morning of Oct. 22 for retakes.
- The Interstate Studio Order Code is: 0482RFF

Dear Bronco Families,

As part of our commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, we are offering a free virtual QPR Su***de Prevention Training provide by Johnson County Mental Health Staff for Bronco Families in recognition of National Su***de Prevention Week. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer and is designed to give everyday people the knowledge and confidence to recognize warning signs, have a caring conversation, and help someone connect with appropriate support. See the FLYER for more information! Just as we learn how to respond to other emergencies, learning how to recognize when someone may be struggling and knowing what to do can make an important difference.

Attention families of juniors and seniors! The 2026 Powder Puff game will be Sunday, Sept. 20. Powder Puff is a friendly flag football competition between the junior girls and the senior girls. This event is a fundraiser put on by parents to help support the After Prom Committee’s goal of providing a safe event for students to go after prom is over.

All SHHS juniors and seniors are invited to participate. Girls play the game and boys are the coaches!
Students should check their email for more information and to register. Act fast because registration is due by midnight Aug. 31.

2027 Bronco Yearbook sales are OPEN! The link below will take you to the USD 230 SPUB website which contains links for senior ads, portraits, quotes, and accomplishments as well as yearbook ordering. Not all these forms are open quite yet, but they will be soon! This is also where we have always published our Staff Manual!

Anyone is welcome to have their yearbook shipped to home, but seniors are especially encouraged to. Yearbook distribution is planned for July 12, 2027 from 9 a.m. to noon.

We've been posting about it for weeks!
It's going to be awesome!
It's BACK to SCHOOL NIGHT!

That's right...Aug. 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.!

We want to see EVERY Bronco family in the building to walk your students' schedules, meet teachers, and learn about classroom policies and the upcoming work for the semester. This is a valuable event for every adult regardless of how many Broncos you've had before. Help us pack the halls!
