Summer vaccination clinics are back! The Johnson County Department of Health and Environment is offering two walk-in vaccination clinics for kindergarten through 12th grade students starting school in August 2026. These clinics provide both required school vaccines and recommended immunizations that protect against serious illnesses like measles, whooping cough and meningitis—diseases that can spread quickly in school settings.

No appointment is needed, and each clinic is designed to be quick and convenient for busy families. A parent or guardian must attend with their child.

"Seniors Arabella Brewer, Isabel Harris, Isla Herman, Nataly Kingston, Aubrey Meder, Chelse Rosana, Elsie Sprague and Ainsley Whittman presented to family, friends, sports medicine professionals and high staff about their internships throughout the school year yesterday.

In Sports Medicine II & Healthcare Workplace Experience I they learned sports medicine skills and gained Real World Learning Experience practicing presentation skills, participating in mock interviews and accumulating 50+ hours interning with local PTs, ATs, and Strength & Conditioning Specialists. We are so proud of their hard work and the way they represented themselves and SHHS!"
