Today was The Wissahickon Walk Bike & Roll at The Wissahickon High School, The Wissahickon Middle school, and Lower Gwynedd Elementary School. We had such an amazing turnout! Special thanks to Ambler Borough Police Department, The Partnership For Transportation, Lower Gwynedd Township and Ambler Borough Public Works to ensure everyone rode safely to and from school today. A special thanks to Deanne Morris who set the event up and makes it more successful every year!

Kids and families are invited to explore the community and discover how public works impacts everyday life, from roads and parks to water and sewer systems.

📅 May 18–23, 2026

✅ Complete the hunt and either:
• Drop off your completed checklist at the Township Building, or

Participants will receive a “Junior Public Works Helper” Certificate, available as both a physical and digital copy! 🏅

This past Saturday we held our annual touch a truck event at our new location at 1400 McKean Rd, Johnson & Johnson’s parking facilities. We had an amazing turnout and the weather was perfect!
