Since 1927, when the citizens of two historic village sections of Wall Township, known as Lake Como (north of Warren Avenue) and Villa Park (south of Warren Avenue) passed a Public Referendum to secede from Wall Township and incorporate as a Borough, known as Spring Lake Heights, the Spring Lake Heights Police Department has proudly served and protected the residents an

d community of Spring Lake Heights. Officers in the Department are engaged in an effort to honor the more than 80 years of service to the community. We look to create a historical account of the development and progress of the Department.

⚠ WATER SYSTEM MAINTENANCE ALERT ⚠

This is a water system maintenance alert for the
📍Area east of Highway 71 from Passaic Avenue to Monmouth Avenue

This includes Warren Avenue, Mercer Avenue, Sussex Avenue, Essex Avenue, Monmouth Avenue, and Sixth Avenue.

Maintenance to the water system in your neighborhood is scheduled to continue Tuesday 8/18/2026 to Thursday 8/20/2026 from 9:00am to 2:30pm.

It may be necessary to temporarily interrupt your water service briefly during these times (in approximately 1 hour intervals). Please plan accordingly! It is anticipated these repairs will be completed and water service returned to normal by 2:30 p.m. daily.

These activities may result in temporary water discoloration. It is recommended you run your cold water in the bath tub for a few minutes before using.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

Last night, during the Spring Lake Heights Borough Council meeting, family, friends, and members of the Spring Lake Heights Police Department proudly witnessed the promotions of Lieutenant Kenneth Hager, Sergeant Raymond Kwiatkowski, Detective Sergeant Ian Davis, Sergeant Connor Bokop, and Sergeant Michael O’Neill.

These promotions are a testament to their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to serving our community.
