Today, June 2nd is Election Day - Do you have a plan to vote today?
If you're voting in person today, the polls are opened at 6:00 am this morning and are closing at 8:00 pm tonight.

Reminder: Primary Elections are "closed" in the State of New Jersey, meaning that only registered Democrats may vote in the Democratic Primary, and only registered Republicans may vote in the Republican Primary.
*Unaffiliated voters may affiliate with a party the day of the Primary and subsequently vote that day.
If you have received a Vote-By-Mail Ballot, RETURN IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
Vote-by-Mail ballots are due before 8 pm tonight, Tuesday, June 2nd.
You may hand-deliver your ballot to the Monmouth County Board of Elections Office before the time the polls close tonight at 8:00 pm.

Voting-by-Mail is safe and secure. We strongly encourage Vote-by-Mail voters to return their ballot at any drop box in Monmouth County by 8:00 pm on Primary Election Day.

If you are mailing your ballot, it must be postmarked by the Post Office's Close of Business today Tuesday, June 2nd. Please be advised that USPS has put out an advisory on how mail is postmarked.
*They have released the following document to give guidance:
"Customers may request a local (manual) postmark, also called a “round-date stamp,” at the retail counter of any Post Office, station, or branch; and that when a customer requests a manual postmark, the mailpiece must be hand-canceled, free of charge."
