SALE - many of you may be aware that WMCC has closed its doors after 40+ years due to Covid. We are selling the contents of the school, furniture; tables, cabinets, chairs, shelving, carpets, etc. So many School/Craft Supplies, most brand new in packages. Toys, gently used as well as some new. Perfect for Teachers or at home classrooms/craft rooms. Come by Saturday, August 28th from 9am - 2pm. 2414 Old Mill Rd, Spring Lake Heights - Rear of Church Building (Lower Hall) Cash or Venmo. Any questions email [email protected]. Masks must be worn inside.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At this time, after working diligently, we cannot financially arrive at an agreement that we can in good faith fulfill to the Wall United Methodist Church and our teachers. So, it is with a heavy heart that we must close our beloved Wall Methodist Child Care after over 40 years.

To all my fellow teachers and staff past and present you are extended family, thank you for the many years of dedication, giving your hearts, kindness, patience, humor and empathy to our school and children. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed.

To all of our families, past and present you are forever in our hearts. Thank you for the privilege of sharing your most precious gifts with us, your children. It was our pleasure and will for ever be a part of us.

To the Wall United Methodist Church and Pastor, thank you for the many years of allowing us to have a wonderful atmosphere to help working Moms have peace of mind and allowing us to teach their children kindness, love, faith and inclusivity. Our memories will be everlasting.

WMCC has been in my heart for almost 40 years and at present my heart is breaking. I have beautiful memories of my daughter Lauren attending our school and later working at our summer programs as a pr***en. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this will cause to you and your family, we are a casualty of the pandemic. Being a nonprofit organization is a challenging journey at best. Please know we did work tirelessly to achieve a more positive result. Recent registration fees will be returned.

May God continue to bless all of you and your families; thank you for the memories, they will forever be part of the tapestry of our lives.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We pray this finds you well. Recognizing the limitations of this year and their recent closure of our church; at present there are still limitations for indoor attendance, we will not reopen until September 2021.

Our first priority is the safety of our children, our families and staff. We will conduct registration for returning students and siblings starting in the spring of 2021. Registration will be opened to new students soon after. Updates will be sent to emails on file. If anything has changed, please make us aware of those changes.

As we all know, 2020 was a year unlike any other! We know 2021 will have some challenges as well. We will move forward within our guidelines from the state and CDC.

May all of you have a blessed Christmas and Hanukkah and a happy and healthy 2021.

Good afternoon Parents and Children.

What a very unusual year 2020 has been!

After much consideration, we have come to a decision on our "End of Year" gathering.

Due to the still uncertain circumstances, we will not at this time be able to have the type of celebration that we had hoped to be able to have.

So rather than wait things out, leave our children wondering, and to enable us to move forward, this is it...

This Friday, June 12th, we will do a "Drive-thru" celebration and share goodbyes. Hopefully more of a "see you later" as we hope those students that are moving on to kindergarten and their families will return to visit us in the hopefully not so distant future as things return to whatever our "new normal" will be.

At this time we invite you to come at your scheduled time, listed below. Enter with caution as if you were coming to the School entrance however we ask you to drive up the hill as if exiting. Proceed to the balloon arch, at the stairs, where your child's teachers will meet you in your vehicle (Please remain in your vehicle) while social distancing. All of your child's belongings and their end of the year, accumulated work will be given out at this time. We know how difficult this whole process has been and we ask for and appreciate your patience as we kindly ask that you do not use this time for getting out for photos. All are welcome to return individually, at another time to take a picture of your child next to the Sesame Street wall.

Dear WMCC families,

Due to the circumstances, we will not be continuing with the Old Monmouth Easter Candy Sale.

We thank you all for your efforts in selling to support our school. For those that had already turned in an order, we will return/refund your money.

In following the Wall Township Schools and for the safety of our staff and families, WMCC will be closed until March 29th and as of now, we will reopen on Monday, March 30th. Please watch for any email updates as well as check our website.
