The Spring Valley Area Ambulance Association is a non-profit corporation that is recognized by the IRS as a 501 (C) (3) organization. We do not own or operate the Spring Valley Ambulance Service, but instead were formed to support the ambulance service by providing for training and helping to obtain equipment, supplies and services that are not budgeted by the City of Spring Valley to operate the
service. Our funding comes from proceeds raised by our training program and donations. We also provide CPR/AED and First Aid classes for business, industry and the general public. Classes can be scheduled for large and small groups as well as one on one where needed. Most classes are taught using programs from The Health and Safety Institute, a nationally recognized leader in quality EMS and related education programs. HSI CPR/AED and First Aid certificates are universally accepted by most regulatory organizations for lay providers as well as the professional rescuer and healthcare providers.
